CLAIRE MAGOFFIN focuses her practice on complex civil litigation and white collar criminal defense and investigations.
Claire earned her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, with a public interest and social justice certificate and pro bono honors with highest distinction. In addition to serving as senior articles editor for the Berkeley Journal of Criminal Law, she participated in the International Human Rights Law Clinic and co-led the Post-Conviction Advocacy Project.
Before attending law school, Claire worked as a legal assistant at a nonprofit organization in Arizona providing legal services to detained individuals facing immigration removal proceedings. She taught fifth grade for three years and holds an M.A. in curriculum and instruction from the University of Colorado Denver. Claire graduated, Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Arizona with a B.A. in political science and Spanish literature, summa cum laude.
