Biography

LLOYD LYALL focuses his practice on international trade and investment issues. His work includes advising on trade policy, trade remedies and customs matters, foreign investment screening, and compliance with export controls and economic sanctions.

During law school, Lloyd was a Salzburg Cutler Fellow in International Law and served as lead executive editor of the Harvard International Law Journal. Lloyd also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Canadian common law from the University of Toronto.

Community Involvement

Pro Bono

Lloyd maintains an active pro bono practice. Prior to joining the firm, Lloyd participated in Sidley’s Pro Bono Fellowship program with the Project on Government Oversight, where he worked on privacy and federalism issues in the immigration, healthcare, and First Amendment activities contexts.
