Biography
STEPHANIE LIM focuses her practice on data privacy and cybersecurity matters, including data breach response, diligence for mergers and acquisitions related to privacy and data security risks, and compliance with evolving state and federal privacy laws.
Prior to joining Sidley, Stephanie served as a judicial extern to The Honorable Robert W. Lehrburger, United States Magistrate Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. She was also a consumer protection legal intern at the Federal Trade Commission’s Office of International Affairs.
While attending Columbia Law School, Stephanie served as managing editor of the Columbia Human Rights Law Review. She was recognized as a James Kent Scholar and a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
