Louis S. Jennings

LOUIS JENNINGS represents large cap and middle-market private equity funds, family offices, and other private capital investors and asset managers, as well as their portfolio companies, in connection with complex transactions including domestic and cross-border leveraged buyouts, follow-on acquisitions and rollups, take-privates, carve-outs, divestments, and liquidity and exit events. Louis has advised private equity and strategic clients on transactions in a wide range of industries including healthcare and life sciences, software and technology, media and telecommunications, retail and consumer products, and energy and infrastructure as a practicing lawyer in the United States, Singapore, and Australia.

Prior to joining Sidley, Louis was an associate in the corporate division of another global law firm in the firm’s Brisbane, Australia and Singapore offices. He completed part of his law degree during a 12-month student exchange program at the University of Copenhagen (Københavns Universitet). Louis sits on the Board of Directors of Story Collider Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in New York City.
