NATASHA GUNASEKARA GARBER has experience with a broad range of real estate transactions, focusing primarily on mortgage and mezzanine financing, leasing, purchase and sale transactions, and securitizations. She works on matters involving multi-family, office buildings, retail centers, industrial warehouses, mixed-use, residential, and hospitality property. Natasha also assists with private equity transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and divestitures.
Natasha participated in Sidley’s Pro Bono Fellowship Program with the ACLU of Southern California, where she worked on voting rights and First Amendment protections.
Prior to joining Sidley, Natasha served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Consuelo M. Callahan of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
While in law school, Natasha served as alumni editor for the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics & Public Policy, and as the founder and president of the Real Estate Law Society. She also received the ALI-CLE Scholarship and Leadership Award, as well as the Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Program of Study in Real Estate Law.
