BRIAN COOK advises and represents alternative asset managers in a variety of formation, transactional, and regulatory matters relating to the organization and operation of hedge funds, hybrid funds, private equity funds, credit funds, funds-of-funds, co-investment funds, single investor funds, and managed accounts. Brian also has experience advising clients in connection with management company agreements, seed capital investments, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions. Brian’s clients pursue a wide variety of investment strategies and range from startup managers to large institutional advisers.

Brian graduated cum laude from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where he was a senior editor of the Northwestern Journal of International Law & Business. Brian graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a B.B.A. in Accountancy.
Prior to attending law school, Brian was a Certified Public Accountant in New York, where he spent three years working in the audit practice of Deloitte & Touche LLP.
