TOM COLLIER focuses his practice on commercial and civil disputes, securities litigation, M&A litigation, and other complex litigation matters in both state and federal courts across the country, as well as white collar and internal investigations.
Tom serves as a trusted advisor to clients across a broad range of industries, including investment banking and financial services, telecommunications, medical devices, and others. His experience spans every stage of the litigation process: conducting fact investigation; preparing witnesses to testify in depositions and at trial; taking and defending depositions; managing electronic reviews and productions; writing dispositive motions; pre-trial and trial proceedings; and drafting appellate briefs, as well as day-to-day management of complex litigations.
Tom previously clerked for the Honorable Steven C. Seeger of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Before practicing law, Tom worked as a public affairs consultant in Washington, D.C., where he directed successful advocacy campaigns for a Fortune 50 client.
Tom graduated with honors from the University of Chicago Law School. Tom graduated cum laude from Yale University with a B.A. in political science.
