BROOKE BÖLL has litigation experience spanning all phases of litigation, including pre-litigation strategy, preparing invalidity and infringement contentions, managing and conducting fact and expert discovery, and trial. Brooke has experience litigating in many forums, including federal courts, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). Brooke has represented clients in matters involving a variety of technologies, including biologics, biotechnology, consumer electronics, and computer networking and telecommunications.
Prior to joining Sidley, Brooke was an extern for the Patent Pilot Program of the Central District of California. While in law school she was an executive articles editor for the UCLA Journal of Law and Technology. During that time, Brooke was a research assistant for Professor Adam Winkler, served as a summer law clerk at an intellectual property litigation firm and volunteered at Bet Tzedek providing pro bono assistance for low-income, elderly Los Angeles residents. Also while in law school, Brooke was a Moot Court Honors member and won Best Brief in the Western Region of the 2017 Giles Sutherland Rich Moot Court Competition.
