Sidley is representing Rithm Capital Corp. (NYSE: RITM) in its US$720 million acquisition of Computershare Mortgage Services Inc. and certain affiliated companies, including Specialized Loan Servicing LLC, from Computershare Limited (ASX: CPU). Rithm Capital is an asset manager focused on the real estate and financial services industries. Once the transaction has closed, Specialized Loan Servicing’s portfolio and operations will be managed by Rithm’s portfolio company Newrez LLC.
