Sidley is advising Zinnia in its strategic acquisition of Policygenius, a digital insurance marketplace.
The combined company will create the industry’s first end-to-end insurance platform, and will offer products and services spanning life and annuities, disability, and property and casualty insurance.
Zinnia, an Eldridge business, is a life and annuity insurance technology and digital services company with more than US$173.7 billion in assets under administration.
KKR, which was a lead investor in Policygenius, will remain an investor in the combined company.
