Sidley represented Accelerant Holdings, an insurtech platform, in the launch of a new US$175 million sidecar investment vehicle, Flywheel Re.
Third-party capital-backed Flywheel will provide exposure to low-volatility commercial risk in the SME market, and is the first sidecar to be launched by an insurtech.
The Sidley team was led by Michael Pinsel (Insurance) and included Tony Ribaudo, Jennifer Norris (both Insurance), Laura Barzilai, Lee Christie, and Nathan Enfield (all Tax).
