Jayanthi Sadanandan, a global co-leader of the firm’s Leveraged Finance practice based in the firm’s London office, has been named to The Lawyer Hot 100 2025. The annual list highlights the leaders of the UK’s legal sector, recognizing the lawyers, barristers, and in-house counsel who are defined by the excellence and relevance of their work.
The Lawyer has highlighted Jay’s ability to find creative solutions in “uncertain market situations” and long-term relationships with an impressive client roster, noting that she is expected to “build on Sidley’s preeminent private equity finance platform and enhance its presence in London.”
Jay has extensive experience advising private equity firms, their portfolio companies, corporates, and other borrowers on a wide range of transactions, including complex cross-border acquisitions and leveraged financings, bank/bond financings, asset-based loans, bridge financings, investment grade loans, post-IPO facilities, and other secured lending transactions.
