The National Women’s Law Center (NWLC) has named Sidley to its inaugural NWLC “Pro Bono Honor Roll” in recognition of the firm’s “outstanding contribution” in the 2023-2024 fiscal year. NWLC confers the special designation upon its “exemplary pro bono partners,” who meet its annual qualifying criteria.

Sidley lawyers and staff devote more than 170,000 hours annually and often partner with local nonprofits to serve those most in need. The firm also has six initiatives that span across all of Sidley’s offices to expand the firm’s impact: Capital Litigation Project; Political Asylum and Immigrants’ Rights Project; Veterans Benefits Project; Constitutional Rights and Civil Liberties Project; Pro Bono Project for the Arts; and the Emerging Enterprises Pro Bono Program.
