Janelle Ibeling, a partner in Sidley’s Chicago office, has been named to The Hedge Fund Journal’s 2023 “50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds” list. The special supplement, now in its eleventh edition, spotlights the leading women professionals in the hedge funds space.
Janelle has over 20 years of experience advising asset management clients. She advises a global client base of investment managers and institutional advisors, providing guidance on the structure, formation, and ongoing operational needs of alternative investment products, including domestic and offshore hedge funds, private equity funds, funds of funds, and “access funds.” She also advises investment banks and wealth management units in connection with their hedge fund strategies and products.
In addition, Janelle is a member of the firm’s Committees for Evaluation and Compensation of Associates and Recruiting of Associates. Janelle’s volunteer work includes her membership for the board of directors of Chicago Cares and Public Law Interest Initiative.
