Financial Times recognized Sidley and Sidley lawyers as finalists for:

- Innovative Practitioner — George C. Fatheree III
Additionally, Sidley secured impressive wins in the “Innovation in Dispute Resolution” and “Innovation in Equity and Racial Justice” categories.
Financial Times recognized Sidley’s innovative dispute resolution work on behalf of Aspen Insurance in defending the company in groundbreaking COVID-19 business interruption litigation. Likewise, the publication commended Sidley’s innovation in equity and racial justice for its landmark representation of the descendants of Willa and Charles Bruce to return property to their family that was wrongfully seized in 1924.
