KUNCHOK YAKLHA focuses her practice on corporate and securities law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and capital markets transactions.
Prior to joining Sidley, she worked as a UN Advocacy Officer in Geneva, Switzerland, and as a research assistant to the UN Special Rapporteur on the independence of judges and lawyers.
While attending Harvard Law School, Kunchok was a member of the Harvard Law Entrepreneurship Project, which provided pro bono legal research and analysis to entrepreneurs at Harvard and MIT.
Kunchok is fluent in Tibetan and Hindi.
