JOSIE WELLAND is an international contentious lawyer, specializing in cybercrime, fraud, and digital threats.
Josie helps clients to prevent and enforce against a wide variety of online harm such as brand impersonation, phishing, tech support fraud, and business email compromise. She has a wealth of experience in representing Very Large Online Platforms (VLOP’s) and other large tech companies both in criminal and civil investigations and litigation relating to these complex issues.

She has also advised clients on novel and complex issues surrounding civil recovery and the proceeds of crime.
Josie has a keen interest, and experience, in matters concerning crypto and digital assets, having participated in some of the leading civil crypto fraud and asset recovery cases before the English High Court, showcasing her ability to navigate evolving legal landscapes.
