ZUZA SAVOFF focuses her practice on the tax aspects relating to structured finance, securitization, and fund formation. Zuza’s principal areas of experience include residential and commercial mortgage-backed securitization, asset-backed securitization, real estate mortgage investment conduits, securitization of non-performing and re-performing loans, CLO and CRE CLO transactions, servicer advance financings, MSR financings and synthetical securitizations. Zuza also has broad experience representing private equity funds as well as domestic and foreign hedge funds. She has been recognized by Chambers USA (Nationwide, 2024) and Chambers Global (USA, 2025) as an “Up and Coming” lawyer for Capital Markets: Securitization: Tax.
Zuza received her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and her L.L.M in taxation from New York University School of Law.
