COLE RIANDA focuses his practice on data privacy and cybersecurity matters. He has experience in cyber incident response, assisting clients in conducting internal investigations; communicating with auditors, insurers, and regulators; and assessing litigation strategy. He also works with clients on their response to new and complex state and federal privacy laws and regulations.
Cole received his J.D. from Yale Law School where he served as web editor of the Yale Law Journal and submissions editor of the Yale Journal on Regulation. He also served as a Coker Fellow for Professor Issa Kohler-Hausmann. Cole received his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Yale University.
Prior to joining the firm, Cole completed a clerkship with The Honorable Steven M. Colloton of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
