Taylor Randleman

TAYLOR RANDLEMAN focuses her practice on government investigations, regulatory approval, and civil litigation, encompassing consumer protection litigation and antitrust litigation counseling. Taylor’s work includes representing companies in merger clearance proceedings and other investigations conducted by the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division and Federal Trade Commission and responding to administrative subpoenas, civil investigative demands, and other government requests for information for targets, third parties, and individuals. She works on matters across a wide range of industries, including agriculture, software/technology, entertainment, and retail.
Taylor served as a judicial law clerk at the Superior Court of New Jersey Appellate and Civil Divisions where she assisted her Judge on appeals from the final judgments of the Law Division and the Chancery Division of the Superior Court, final judgments of the Tax Court, and final decisions of state administrative agencies. While in law school, Taylor served as the notes and comments editor for the Emory International Law Review.
Experience
- Representative Matters
- Defended a specialty chemicals company involved in-class action litigation against allegations of price-fixing, including, among other things, writing key briefs and preparing and defending experts in class certification.
- Defended an agribusiness supplier against antitrust counterclaims in a patent infringement lawsuit by a competitor.
- Represented a client involved in a consumer protection dispute before the National Advertising Division and advised the client on risks with related advertising.
- Represented multiple parties to mergers involved in second phase (Second Request) investigations, including coordinating and responding to discovery requests, preparing clients for depositions, and preparing and delivering advocacy to federal and state antitrust agencies.
The above matters were handled prior to joining Sidley.
