MEAGHAN O’TOOLE practices in the Pooled Investment Entities group in the firm’s New York office, which includes REITs, funds, investment advisers and derivatives. Her practice focuses on securities offerings, general corporate matters and funds, with an emphasis on REIT and other real estate-related transactions. Meaghan regularly represents both issuers and underwriters in a variety of capital markets transactions. Her experience includes public and private offerings of all types, including IPOs and other common equity transactions, preferred stock offerings and secured and unsecured debt transactions. Meaghan has worked extensively with equity and mortgage REITs as well as issuers in other industries. In addition to securities offerings, Meaghan’s practice includes counseling clients regarding general corporate and securities laws matters, including corporate governance matters, public company reporting obligations and stock exchange requirements. Her experience also includes the representation of real estate and other fund managers in fund formations as well as institutional investors in their investments into private funds.
