BEATRICE MCGUIRE advises leading private equity sponsors and other institutional investors on corporate transactions in the infrastructure sector across a broad range of assets, including energy and energy-transition, transportation, and digital and social infrastructure assets.

Prior to joining Sidley, Beatrice was an associate in the private equity infrastructure practice of another international law firm.

Recent examples of Beatrice’s work include advising:

• Warren Equity Partners on its acquisition of Obsequio Group, a UK headquartered infrastructure services business, focussed on fire safety, water hygiene, security, asbestos, energy and environmental compliance services.
• VisionEdgeOne in its investment in RE2sources, an Italian biomethane producer.
• Infrabridge and Achieve together on the strategic acquisition by Achieve together of the adult residential services business from Outcomes First Group.
• Stonepeak, a leading alternative investment firm specializing in infrastructure and real assets, on its strategic, preferred investment into AGP Sustainable Real Assets (AGP), a global infrastructure and real assets developer and operator across three key investment themes: renewable energy, infrastructure and communities, and natural capital.
• THI Investments on the sale of Corndel, a professional training and coaching business.
• Northleaf Capital Partners in its acquisition of CCT Group, a leading tri modal container port terminal business, from iCON Infrastructure Partners.
• A leading infrastructure fund in its acquisition of Melita, a fully converged digital infrastructure owner and operator delivering broadband, mobile connectivity and data centre solutions across Malta.
• Pictet Alternative Advisors in its acquisition of Technology Services Group Limited.
• Pictet Alternative Advisors in its Acquisition of Pareto FM.
• THI Investments on the acquisition of Impact Food Group, a leading UK school catering company, from Bridges Fund management, together with ongoing advice in relation to numerous other THI portfolio companies.
• Crystal Palace Football Club on various investment matters.
• A consortium on its bid to acquire Parmaco, a provider of fully assembled and ready-to-use modular buildings for use as schools and day caredaycare centres centers in Finland and Sweden.
• A UK green investment fund on its acquisition of a majority interest in a Greek solar development platform and associated joint venture arrangements.
