FLYNN MADDEN focuses his practice on international trade and customs law. Flynn advises companies on all aspects of U.S. customs law and substantive matters related to the importation of merchandise into the United States.
Prior to joining Sidley, Flynn was an Attorney-Advisor with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) headquarters in the Office of Trade, Regulations and Rulings Directorate. While at Customs, Flynn worked on administrative rulings, petitions, and protests, and he advised CBP officials on admissibility determinations for merchandise being imported into the United States.
Flynn earned his law degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law and his B.A. from the College of William & Mary.
