AVERYN LEE earned her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where she served as the managing executive editor of the Michigan Technology Law Review, and represented wrongfully convicted individuals as a student attorney for the Michigan Innocence Clinic. Through her participation in the project, Averyn helped exonerate two clients after 25 and 37 years in prison, and drafted an amicus brief to the Supreme Court of Michigan. Prior to joining the firm, Averyn also spent a year on a clerkship with Judge Edward M. Chen of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
Averyn earned her B.S. in anatomy and cell biology with first class honors from McGill University.
