OLIM LATIPOV’s background includes exceptional mathematical abilities demonstrated by winning national and international competitions. He also has extensive experience with the transition economies of the CIS. He has been involved in complex arbitration cases and worked with experts in the fields of accounting, economic modeling and commodity trading, including working closely with expert witnesses. He provides analytical and advocacy assistance to companies, associations and governments on international economic and trade policy issues, in commercial arbitrations.
Prior to joining the firm, Olim worked as an Investment Analyst for a leading investor in distressed debt in Eastern Europe. He was responsible for analyzing the portfolios of distressed debts in order to determine the right purchase price.
Olim also has experience in transport infrastructure financing and economics. He has worked for the International Road Federation and has conducted theoretical and field research in all aspects of transport infrastructure financing such as public-private partnership, contracting out, toll roads and cost-benefit analysis of projects at the development stage.
