TAYLOR LARSON represents private equity firms, portfolio companies, and other businesses and investors in mergers and acquisitions and other strategic transactions across all investment stages with a focus on entertainment, sports, and media. His practice includes the representation of high-net-worth individuals, families, sponsors, and investor consortiums in buying, selling, and investing in sports franchises and sports-related assets.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Taylor worked in London as an associate in the Financial and Strategic Investors Group within the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs, where he covered European family offices and family-owned companies.
While in law school, Taylor was a staff editor for the University of Miami Law Review and a member of the Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Board. Taylor received the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement Award for his work as a fellow in Miami Law’s Startup Clinic, where he advised technology startups on a variety of legal issues. Taylor also received CALI awards for his work in the Transactional Skills program and in Negotiating and Drafting for the Business of Entertainment.
During his undergraduate studies, Taylor served as a student associate to the President of Sports at Madison Square Garden and as an intern for the Utah Jazz.
