SAM HUGHES focuses her practice on the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and corporate governance matters.
Sam earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif. She also graduated with a certificate in transactional law. During law school, Sam worked as a teaching assistant in the subject areas of civil procedure and criminal law, served as a student clinician at the Loyola Business Law Clinic, and was the executive editor of the Loyola University Chicago International Law Review.
Prior to law school, Sam earned her B.A. in international studies from the University of Alabama.
