PAUL GEORGE, JR. focuses his practice on public and private capital market transactions, including commercial mortgage-backed securitization, and structured finance transactions involving a variety of asset classes, including auto loans and leases, equipment loans and leases, and student loans, where he represents both issuers and underwriters in public and private securities offerings. He also represents both borrowers and financial institutions in a wide variety of financing transactions.
Prior to joining Sidley, Paul was a corporate attorney at various firms, including a global law firm, where he primarily represented financial institutions and private and public companies in connection with debt and equity financing, real estate joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and secured and unsecured lending facilities.
Prior to practicing law, Paul practiced corporate tax consulting and compliance at a Big Four accounting firm in Miami for two years. Paul is also a certified public accountant.
While attending the University of Notre Dame Law School, Paul served as vice president of the Transactional Law Team. He also served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Beth Bloom of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
