JACKSON GARVEY represents debtors, secured lending syndicates, bondholder groups, equity holders, purchasers, sellers and individual creditors in all aspects of restructurings (both in and out of court), distressed asset dispositions and acquisitions, as well as bankruptcy-related litigation. He also maintains an active pro bono practice with a focus on veterans issues and Section 1983 litigation.
Jackson earned his law degree, with highest honors, from Notre Dame Law School. During his time at Notre Dame, he served as an associate editor of the Notre Dame Law Review and as a judicial extern to the Honorable Raymond Mitchell, Circuit Judge for Cook County, Illinois. He was awarded the “Dean Joseph O’Meara Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement” in May 2015. Jackson earned bachelor’s degrees in economics and psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
