DAVID DIORIO practices primarily in the area of business immigration law. David represents and advises U.S. and multinational corporations on a variety of employment-related immigration and compliance matters, including nonimmigrant visas (O-1, L, TN, E, H-1B), immigrant visas (all employment-based categories), the PERM labor certification process, internal and government audits of I-9 and immigration-related wage and hour compliance, and immigration support for mergers and acquisitions. David also helps employers design, draft, implement and manage customized immigration programs and policies to optimize their hiring, onboarding and retention of foreign employees.
David has significant experience with complex O-1 and EB-1A “extraordinary ability” petitions and EB-1B “outstanding researcher” petitions, particularly for foreign national scientists, physicians, engineers, executives, entrepreneurs, and technologists specializing in autonomous driving, robotics, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. He currently represents multinational corporate clients in the consulting, technology, transportation, digital media, travel, healthcare and financial services domains.
David received his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School, where he received the Jessup International Moot Court Award for excellence in advocacy, and his B.A. in English from Wake Forest University.
