CELIA CHONG’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, white collar crime defence and contentious regulatory matters.
Celia has extensive experience in advising Hong Kong listed companies, PRC companies, their officers as well as high-profile individuals in commercial disputes (including cross-border contractual disputes and shareholder disputes), debt recovery and enforcement, and winding up and bankruptcy petitions.
Celia has defended clients in white collar crime investigations and the subsequent prosecution and criminal proceedings initiated by the Hong Kong Police Force and the Independent Commission Against Corruption and other law enforcement agencies, as well as in enforcement proceedings brought by the Securities and Futures Commission for sanctions and reliefs under the Securities and Futures Ordinance. She is also experienced in assisting clients with legal professional privilege claims following searches and seizures by law enforcement agencies.
