MIRANDA CASSIDY focuses her practice on commercial litigation and disputes.
She earned her J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude and was elected to the Order of the Coif. While attending law school, Miranda served as a judicial extern for Judge Catarina Haynes in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and for Judge Jane Boyle in the Northern District of Texas. She was a chief in SMU’s First Amendment Clinic. She also worked at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Northern District of Texas as a criminal and appellate extern. Miranda was also the lead articles editor for the SMU Law Review Association.
Prior to law school, Miranda graduated magna cum laude from Southern Methodist University with a B.A. in psychology and a B.A. in economics.
