BRAD CARNEY focuses his practice on cybersecurity and data privacy matters, including cyber incident response, compliance with evolving state and federal privacy and data protection laws, and diligence for mergers and acquisitions related to data security and privacy risks.
Prior to joining Sidley, Brad served as a law clerk to the U.S. Senate Homeland Security Subcommittee on Emerging Threats and Spending Oversight. He also completed a pro bono fellowship with the National Veterans Legal Services Program.
Prior to law school, Brad served as an Army Ranger in the U.S. Army.
