BRIAN BOWMAN advises investment advisers and other financial institutions in respect to the formation, offering, and operation of private equity, hedge, venture capital, and other types of private investment funds, including conduit vehicles, funds-of-funds, and single investor products to accommodate custom mandates. He also represents institutional investors, including pension plans, insurance companies, family offices, advisers to funds-of-funds, and foundations in respect to the structuring of their investments in alternative investment funds and in connection with secondary transactions. In particular, Brian has experience on the buy-side and sell-side in LP-led transactions involving portfolios of fund interests. Complementary to these matters, Brian has experience managing portfolio-scale investment fund-focused due diligence projects in support of liquidity transactions, including the structuring of collateralized fund obligations. Brian also has experience providing assistance to investment advisers in respect to all aspects of their business, including commercial operations, regulatory matters, compliance programs, and M&A transactions.
