MATT BINDER represents companies in products liability, toxic tort, IP, and class action matters, both before and during trial, in both federal and state court as well as in arbitration. Matt has substantial experience drafting dispositive motions in federal district courts and state trial and appellate courts. Matt has seen cases through all aspects of daily case management and stages of discovery, including preparing witnesses for deposition and trial/arbitration testimony and taking and defending expert, treating physician, and company witness depositions. He also has experience arguing motions in federal district court.
Matt graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School in 2019, where he was an articles editor for the University of Michigan Journal of Law Reform and a finalist in the 1L Oral Advocacy Competition. Matt graduated summa cum laude from Wabash College in 2016 with a B.A. in Classics. He received the Junior Peck Medal for promise in the law and was a two-time finalist in the Wabash College Moot Court Competition.
