JAMES BAMBURY focuses his practice on a broad variety of finance transactions. He also maintains an active pro bono practice, working to support veterans and low income senior citizens in preparing life planning documents.
Prior to joining Sidley, James worked as a summer associate and then an associate at another global law firm. He has experience representing lenders in mortgage, mezzanine, and condominium financings and refinancing across a variety of verticals including hospitality, self-storage, industrial, residential, office, and retail, as well as in connection with securitizations and syndications of loans, loan sales, note sales, and acquisitions of loans.
While attending Washington University School of Law, James served as an editor for the Jurisprudence Review.
