Sidley has advised Bradford Airport Logistics LLC on the establishment of an equity joint venture with Flughafen Wien AG (Vienna Airport). The joint venture, named Vienna Airport Logistics GmbH, aims to set new standards in airport logistics services at Vienna Airport.
The joint venture will create a centralized logistics hub to efficiently, securely, and sustainably manage the flow of goods to over 100 shops and restaurants in the Terminal 3 Southern Expansion, set to launch in 2027. This initiative will enhance the quality and reliability of logistics services, benefiting both partners and passengers.
Bradford Airport Logistics is recognized globally as a pioneer and market leader in CRDC solutions, with over 25 major airport contracts and a 100% renewal rate over its 25-year history. Vienna Airport, located in Schwechat, is Europe's 19th-largest airport, with 31.7 million passengers in 2024 and total revenue of approximately €1 billion.
