Sidley is representing Mastercard in its US$2.65 billion acquisition of global threat intelligence company Recorded Future. The acquisition will complement Mastercard’s existing suite of cybersecurity services. Both companies use artificial intelligence to analyze and identify potential cybersecurity threats to help protect people and businesses. The transaction is expected to close by Q1 2025, subject to regulatory review and customary closing conditions.
