Latinvex named Sidley partner David A. Silva to its 2025 “Latin America’s Rising Legal Stars” list, which profiles up-and-coming lawyers at international law firms for their work in the region.
David defends companies and their directors, officers, and employees in complex criminal and civil investigations, environmental government enforcement actions, and white collar matters. He frequently represents clients based in Latin America or doing business in Latin America, with issues arising out of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, as well as fraud, financial misstatement, and crisis management issues. David’s Spanish fluency, in particular, makes him a key member of Sidley’s Latin America Investigations practice and enables the team to offer legal services to a broad base of clients throughout the region.
