The Chicago Bar Association honored Byron F. Taylor with its 2024 “Earl B. Dickerson Award,” presented annually to diverse lawyers and judges whose careers “emulate the courage and dedication of Dickerson in making the law the key to justice for all.” The special award was established by the Association in honor of Earl B. Dickerson, whose professional career was devoted to the law and helping others gain equality and justice.
Byron is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and co-leader of Sidley’s Environmental practice group. His practice includes civil litigation, crisis response, compliance counseling, internal investigations, regulatory advocacy, and environmental aspects of transactions. Within the firm, Byron co-chairs the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee and serves on the Lawyer Training and Professional Development Committee and the Counsel Committee.
