The merger of Plains All American and Sidley client Oryx Midstream was named a finalist at the 2021 ACG Houston Deals of the Year awards. The annual awards, hosted by the Association of Corporate Growth (ACG) celebrate Houston’s booming middle-market community, honoring the deals and dealmakers who drive middle market growth.
Sidley represented Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners and Oryx Midstream Holdings LLC, a portfolio company of Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners, in a joint venture with Plains All American of their respective Permian Basin assets, operations, and commercial activities. The transaction included all of Oryx’s Permian assets and, with the exception of Plains’ long-haul pipeline systems and certain of its intra-basin terminal assets, the vast majority of Plains’ assets located within the Permian Basin.
