Mr. Ehrenkranz joins Sidley from Kirkland & Ellis LLP where he played a key role in the healthcare transactional practice, with a focus on regulatory and enforcement matters, on behalf of private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies.
Mr. Ehrenkranz has built a successful career and track record, regularly representing healthcare clients in structuring and negotiating acquisitions, joint ventures and affiliations, and advising on compliance matters, investigations, employment and consulting arrangements, and other healthcare regulatory issues. In addition, Mr. Ehrenkranz is well-versed in federal and state healthcare regulatory and licensure and regularly advises clients on the corporate practice of medicine, and state and federal fraud and abuse laws.
