The Practice Note examines the regulatory requirements applicable to publicity, advertising, and communications in relation to initial public offerings in Hong Kong including the liability and other potential consequences of violating these requirements. This Note also discusses the application of these regulatory requirements in specific types of publicity and marketing activities, such as media reports, premarketing, research reports, and road shows.
