FDIC and OCC Propose Extensive Changes to Community Reinvestment Act Regulations

On December 12, 2019, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC and, together with the FDIC, the Agencies) released an interagency proposal (Proposal)1 for sweeping changes to the regulations implementing the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).2 Comments are due on or before the date that is 60 days after official publication in the Federal Register.
