Sidley partner and Environmental practice co-leader Justin Savage will serve as co-chair for the upcoming Battery Supply Chain and Compliance Summit hosted by the American Conference Institute (ACI) on March 20, 2025 in Chicago, IL. Sidley M&A partner Pran Jha will be speaking at this event on the “EV Battery Market Update: Insights and Projections for 2025” panel. Pran and his fellow panelists will discuss the M&A outlook for electric vehicle (EV) battery deals, analyze consumer demand trends, and discuss how the EV battery market may be impacted by incoming administrative priorities.
The event features leaders from the automotive and EV battery industries, government agencies, and top law firms to discuss challenges and developments in the EV space such as compliance, supply chain resilience, and global policy trends. This is the ACI’s inaugural event on EV Battery Supply Chain and Compliance, spurred by increased demand for EVs, stricter emissions regulations, and continued soaring investments in renewable energy.
